4 Incredible Travel Destinations

Taco Winter

When they’re not making public appearances or planning a wedding, the most talked-about couple on either side of the pond is jet-setting to some pretty spectacular destinations across the globe. Here, our four favoUrite vacation spots that have the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle royal seal of approval.

Okavango Delta, Botswana

For their very first vacation together, Harry and Meghan went camping (yes, in a real tent) in the wilderness of this gorgeous southern Africa country. They reportedly stayed at the luxurious Meno a Kwena camp, so they didn’t exactly have to sleep on the ground to experience the untamed beauty of the rugged bush. The royals also took a safari, rode boats along the Boteti River and took in the beauty of glittering sunsets and wild game (lions, rhinos and zebras, oh my!) on the lush Okavango Delta.

Monte Carlo, Monaco

You, too, can travel like the royals, who reportedly flew economy (Harry and Meghan: They’re just like us!) to the French Riviera to ring in 2018 in style. Once in the tiny-yet-glamorous coastal city, dubbed the “billionaires’ playground” for its lavish casinos and gorgeous yachts docked in the Mediterranean harbour, the two stayed at a private residence. Excuse us while we furiously research Airbnbs in Monte Carlo.

Tromvik, Norway

Looking for a more low-key excursion? The royal couple travelled to Norway in January of last year to see the northern lights via the tiny town of Tromvik, known for its whale watching and lack of touristy shops and restaurants (aka locals only). The couple reportedly bunked up in a private cabin near Tromvik Lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the ice-covered sea and bright turquoise fjords.

Marble Caves

The Marble Caves, which are located on a peninsula bordering Lake General Carrera in Chile, are a breathtaking cave network where thousands of years of waves washing up against calcium carbonate have formed swirling marble patterns on cavern walls.Pangong Tso is a lake that stretches over 60 miles from China, making it one of the largest lakes in Asia. With clear waters that reflect its mountainous surroundings beautifully, the lake is a striking sight for visitors to enjoy.
